Bristol Community Housing Foundation is a community based, not for profit, housing association set up in 1997 to redevelop Upper Horfield in North Bristol.
The Foundation's major project is working with Bristol City Council and Bovis Homes to transform the run down pre war Upper Horfield council estate into a thriving new community where residents can feel proud of where they live.

The success of the redevelopment has received national recognition and in 2006 was voted overall winner of the Guardian Public Services awards for its innovation in Finance and Procurement.
The Foundation is now expanding by developing further social rented and low cost home ownership housing in the North of Bristol.
