Southmead, Henbury & Brentry
Welcome
These adjoining neighbourhoods lie on the north west of Bristol and share boundaries with South Gloucestershire and Avonmouth. Transport links into the city centre are excellent and there is easy access to the M5 and M4 motorways. Cribbs Causeway also adjoins this area to the north.
The area has a well-equipped, modern leisure centre in Henbury, plus additional gym facilities at the Greenway Centre in Southmead. Blaise Castle estate with its new play park, country walks and museum is also within very easy reach.

Southmead
Southmead is a suburb and council ward in the north of Bristol. The town of Filton and the Bristol suburbs of Monks Park, Horfield, Henleaze and Westbury-on-Trym lie on its boundaries.
Southmead has many local services and facilities including an excellent local youth centre, library plus a high street with a good range of local shops. BCHF has a number of developments in the area and we can help point you in the right direction of groups and activities that we know about.

Henbury
Henbury is the area between Southmead and Lawrence Weston. Is it a thriving community with excellent links to Cribbs Causeway and the motorway. It has great local facilities, parks including the magnificent Blaise Castle Estate and Museum, the new Henbury Leisure Centre and a good range of local shops. Brentry
