St George

St George in east Bristol is home to one of Bristol’s large ‘Destination Parks’, a public library and has ample local shopping provision in neighbouring Hanham to the east and on Church Road in Redfield to the west. There are some very popular local beauty spots at the nearby Troopers Hill Nature Reserve and at Avon Valley Woodlands where you can catch the ferry to the well-known Bees’s Tea Rooms.

BCHF’s properties at Stibbs Hill are located just off the main A431 road that connects Bristol and Bath. As such, Stibbs Hill is well-connected to frequent local bus services into the city centre, to Bath and the outlying villages and is a short walk from the amenities offered in nearby Hanham which include ample shops, a library, community centre and youth club.
