Getting involved in your local community

BCHF works across all of our developments in north Bristol to help communities to tackle local concerns, improve service delivery and develop projects to address local needs.  We work in partnership with local neighbourhood organisations to ensure residents enjoy a high quality of life and benefit from living in a thriving, diverse and active local community.

Local Groups

BCHF supports a number of groups to address local issues and develop community projects.  Currently the following groups meet and are open to you to join.  These groups are:

2008 is Upper Horfield's year of Celebration

'The Other Side of the Road' is a play put together by local residents about the life of the people of Upper Horfield, from its original build in the 1920s, to the present day. This play will be performed at Monks Park School on Thursday 27th Nov and Friday 28th Nov at 7:30 pm, and on Saturday 29th Nov at 2:30 pm. Entry: £3/£2 concs, £10 Family.
