Rents
Paying your rent
The rents that BCHF charge are controlled by central government and are comparable to other social landlords.
Rent is payable each Monday in advance. Rents can be paid in the following
ways:
- By direct debit (weekly, fortnightly or monthly). We collect the payment when it is due so that you do not have to worry about falling into arrears. Please contact us to set up a direct debit mandate. We will give you a schedule so that you can see how much will be collected and when.
- By standing order (weekly or monthly). You are responsible for ensuring that the timing of the payment is correct, including increasing the amount correctly each time the rent is increased at the beginning of April. Please contact us to obtain our bank account details.
- In person at the Foundation’s office (we accept payment by credit/debit card using our card terminal and also cheque and postal orders). Click here for opening times.
- By post (cheques and postal orders only) Click here for our address
- At any Post Office (cash or cheque)
by using the Post Office Payment Card issued to you. Please contact
us if you have lost your card.
- Any branch of Natwest Bank (cash and cheques).
Please request a paying in book if you wish to use this service.
